Done with Project Two...Shutter Island...and GERMANY/NETHERLANDS

Its been quite some time bloggerz, thats cuz ive been in studio for daze. My project turned out really well and im very proud to be among some very talented students here. Many pre-arch first year students have designed very strong pieces. That being said-its over! Time to celebrate!

Tomorrow morning i head to Germany and the Netherlands with the architecture program for a week. Should be a blast.

Just came back from seeing Shutter Island, a must see, but definitley intense. I had no idea what i was getting into. I feel like Rory, the Scorsese fan that he is, abosultley loved it. Leonardo DiCaprio was great in it too.

heres a pick of what my presentation board looked like...mind you first time ive done this.

Bibi Ghost Fashion Show

So yesterday was the last day of Copenhagen Fashion Week '10 and of course i had to see a show.

Went online and found one that wasn't invitation only and met up with a couple friends there.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!

the designer is named Bibi Ghost, and her collection was great. What was also awesome was that the runway and show had the theme of an Afternoon Tea...so it made me think of mum and ks over at Dorset Cafe.

Also, the pioneer that i am, got an amazing seat...by climbing up the lighting.

enjoy the pics-

Spears, Arrows, and Abbey Ale

Yesterday we went to the old Abbey of Ersum. It was CRAZY. I dont think anyone knew what they signed up for. We took an Abbey tour which was lackluster and read in poor English off a site like Wikipedia. The people didnt even know the name for an alter. Then the fun started. We broke off into teams, had to come up with a team name, warrior cry, and coat of arms that we painted onto a shield and a flag. The 'whacking' or VIKING workshop started and we had to compete in events. There was archery, battering ram, strength training, and sword fighting with an ex-soldier who showed no mercy on the Americans, even the girls. After an exhausting day we drank some local øl.

(they didnt even tell us what this meant...it was near the coat check)

Good thymes.
look at these pictures...this place would get sued the hell out of if it existed in the states
